Interesting Facts from the Quarterly Reports

The division quarterly reports for the Third Quarter (January to March 2008) are now available in SharePoint under Office of the Dean, Quarterly Reports. Just to pique your interest, here are few interesting facts from the reports:
  • IT – During this quarter, UK patrons initiated 63,906 off-campus sessions to access licensed library resources. Each session on average lasted 26 minutes
  • IT – During this quarter, patrons made 1,675,845 requests for SFX menus, and clicked through 193,164 times to request full-text services
  • CTS – The Libraries has received over 7,000 donated items so far this fiscal year. Of those 1,154 have been added to the collections.
  • R&E – this spring’s information literacy efforts reached 2,300 students in 34 sessions
