External Review Team Reports

The Libraries’ Program Review process is drawing to a close. The report from the External Review Team has been received by the Provost and provided to the Libraries. I have begun discussions with the Executive Committee and the Faculty Council. We are expected to provide a response to the report with a plan of action by August 14, 2009. The three documents from the Provost’s Office have been posted on the Office of the Dean SharePoint site under Program Review. The three PDFs include a letter from the chair of the team to the Provost, the report of the external review team, and another letter from the team which summarize some items they heard during their review process that did not warrant inclusion in the larger report.
I encourage you to read and review the documents and provide any input you have to your supervisor, members of the Executive Committee and the Faculty Council, or to me directly. I will share a draft response with you for comment before we finalize.
