I've had a Flickr account for some time but haven't experimented with it much. mostly have used it to look at photos that friends have posted there rather than sending out via email. So as I worked on my Blue 2.0 assignment, I looked at the Mappr feature and used my hometown, Shreveport, as the search term. Amazingly someone has posted lots of old photos and that poster is just a bit older than me. So, here's an example from 1964 from this poster. I have an almost exact photo from my second grade class in 1965! I can see how you cuold spend HOURS exploring and playing with flickr.
