Ryan Valentin Wins National Law Library Photo Contest

Ryan Valentin recently was named the winner in two categories of this year's American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) "Day in the Life of the Law Library Community" photo contest. During the month of February each year, AALL members take a wide range of photographs of law librarians working, meeting, teaching and doing all that law librarians do in a given day or week. This year, nearly 50 AALL members from 35 different law libraries across the country submitted more than 125 photos to the contest. Ryan took first place in two of the seven categories – “Librarians as Expert Researchers” and “Librarians as Trailblazers in New Technologies.” His pictures will be framed and on display at the AALL annual meeting this July, in Portland, Ore.
