Georgetown library testing compressed four-day work week

The Georgetown University library system in Washington, D.C., will institute this summer an official policy allowing full-time employees to work a four-day compressed week. Under the guidelines, the library’s 105 full-time members would work 10-hour days in exchange for a three-day weekend each week. This would leave them with either a Monday or a Friday off depending on departmental needs....Georgetown University Blue and Gray, May 27
