The World Wide Web turns 20
The modern day internet, better known as the “World Wide Web,” turned 20 years old March 13, as many marked the anniversary. Its inception dates back to March 13, 1989, when computer scientist Sir Tim Berners-Lee (right) at the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, popularly known as CERN Laboratory, presented a paper containing means and methods by which particle physics scientists could easily share and find out essential electronics documents....IT Pro Portal, Mar. 13
