A new website of the Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Effectiveness has been launched. They have been developing this website for 18 months in response to requests for improved navigation and user-friendliness. New features that may be of interest to you include:
- A more comprehensive, collaborative overview of institutional data from offices across the University to provide a “first-stop” shopping site for information commonly sought.
- Data are categorized in various ways and represented in tabs across the top to assist users in finding quickly the information needed. For example, a Diversity tab brings together in one place all the information now available on diverse groups of students, faculty, staff and administrators, even though such information is also available through the student, faculty and staff tabs.
- Customized college pages are provided through the Colleges tab, rather than requiring a user to look for college data throughout all the other various locations where it might reside.
We are working with Institutional Effectiveness to add a page for the Libraries with the other colleges. The site can be found at http://www.uky.edu/IRPE/welcome.html
