Libraries Phonathon

As we do each year, the Libraries’ annual phonathon is set to begin on August 17th and conclude on September 3rd. Our annual giving program has grown from 219 donors giving $5,090 in FY05 to 589 donors giving $41,564 in FY09. The phonathon program is run by the University’s Development Office and includes a small army of students who call friends and potential donors asking for them to make their annual contribution to the Libraries and sharing information about the Libraries with them. If you’ve ever given to the UK Libraries, you might get a call so I wanted to alert you to this upcoming activity.
